Pan Fried Sardines

  • 4 sardines – cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic slivered
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • Sea salt
  • Juice from one lemon
 

Marinate sardines with olive oil, garlic thyme and salt 20 minutes before frying

Pan sear over high heat for 2 – 3 minutes per side

Finish with freshly squeezed lemon juice
